Departing New Zealand is bittersweet. Today I cleaned out my studio; brought buckets of sand back to the beach; swept, and carried the canvases out to the car. I spoke little to my studio mates as I was rather melancholy.

Melancholy is understandable after what appears to have been such a great experience, but know we here in TheStates will be happy to have you home! Cheers -
